Alhamdulillah-a very simple & down to earth lady. I did a light pink make up to suit her shocking pink tudung and pink baju (this pic is before she change to the actual attire). This pic is taken with flash.

The above pic is without flash-more natural look.
Norbain is a simple lady hence she's not use to heavy make up and her last make over was during her wedding :-). She hired me for another session that is for the wedding reception. Since it is a VVIP wedding and she has given the responsibility to usher a VVIP, that explains why she needs this make over ;-). Stay tune for her next make over this coming Wednesday. From the side-I did a light & natural make up. She is just 25 years old and never experienced wearing a full make up before-this is her first ever ;-)

She is a sweet, lovely and tall girl-5 ft 10 inches-qualified to be a model :-) and she had been approached by a modeling agency too but total opposite-a lawyer by profession ;-)

I'm using my iphone camera only--there was a professional photographer during the event. I am hoping to get a few pics from him-hopefully!

Advance Eyebrow Class with Kak Rose 080510

I've attended an advance eyebrow class with K.Rose at her boutique in Puchong. Love her work done especially in eyebrow and with no hesitation I signed up for the class. K.Rose is a senior make up artist and has been in this industry for more than 13 years...she's currently a make up artist to Lisa Surihani and has been doing others too :-)

The model is K.Rose only daughter ;-) - Fatin is her name. This is how her original eyebrow looks like and very challenging to define and shape it.

The 1st technique-more suitable for round and longish face. This is done by the sifu...see how define it is....As per K.Rose advice, if the customer do not want to shave the eyebrow, the remaining hair after we have defined the brow, can be covered with a foundation and blend it with a highligther-tips...tips...tips :-)

And this is done by the amateur a.k.a ME...he he he...my first attempt...tough job! Bila tgk sifu buat macam senang je, but when it comes to your turn...fuhhhhh....sweaty palm people! Oh ya! see how I cover with foundation and blend it with a highlighter....can't see the remaining hair right?

2nd technique-suitable for those who wants a sexy and fierce look and with an oval face. Abby Abadi loves this technique according to K.Rose ;-). This is done by the sifu.

3rd technique - straight and long and suitable for most faces. Done by the sifu of coz!

Overall, I really enjoyed the class and K.Rose is a very nice and sweet lady. Never tired of teaching us and she will make sure that you do it right even if you have to finish the class from 10am to 10pm! Seriously....I'm not kidding! This is how she wants her student to "pandai" and it's all hands on which I really love it as it is practical too!
I'm planning to go for another class with K.Rose-HAIRDO...insya'allah.

Alhamdulillah, again I was given the trust to make over Aini for her dinner with Telekom and don't play2 with the theme...deng deng deng deng deng...JAMES BOND ;-)

Aini chose to become Lucy Liu...hrmmm to think of it...Lucy Liu was in Charlie's Angel kan?? he he he he...Oh! nevermind, she still look stunning bottomline is...she's wearing a black cheongsam with gold lining and red flowery pattern. Amoi leng luiii ooo :D

Her eyes colours-Metallic grey, black and a blend of red maroon.

Aini Mazlin was my ex boss during my tenure years in Adam017 & TimeCel. She is my mentor and sifu. "Garang" boss but yet soft spoken and supportive. I have learnt loads of things from her and I am where I am today....with her guidance too ;-)

She has called me for my "magic touch" as she quoted ;D to make her up in an Arabic dinner theme that was held in Pullman, Putrajaya.

Tadaaa...such a sweet & lovely lady she is...physically & deep within :-)

Once again gratitude to the one and only for giving me this 'rezeki' and my thank you(s) to Zarina & Awanis for sharing this job with me.

I'm given the trust to do a make over for the sisters in conjunction of KaK Millie's birthday as she wants this memorable event to be captured gracefully at Putrajaya. All of these lovely and sweet sisters are daughters to Dato' Seri Zaini, one of our national hero who had fight for our country from being intruded by terrorist. To be franked, I felt really honoured to have this chance and I've met the hero in person. Dato' is such a humble and sporting dad to all of his girls. Loving dad he is! Not forgetting the "Mama" to these girls...lovely and friendly lady she is :-)

My Best Friend Wedding 100410

Last weekend I've attended one of my best friend wedding at Restaurant Seri Melayu. She is my buddy since we were in high school and I am very happy for her as she has found the love of her lifetime and she will be settling down in UK. Since it was her BIG day and knowing that she will be leaving soon...I can't miss this historic day and I have decided to GO GREEN on that day ;-).

AFG Annual Dinner-Nite Of Colors 270310

I'm supposed to update this earlier, my apology and I should start to make an extra effort to frequently update my blog despite my busy time with work, home & family (no more excuse Nadiya, other people can do it...and I should take that as a good example :-)

The above pic, was taken during our Bank's Annual dinner at Sunway Convention Centre and this year theme was Nite of Colours and I did smokey purple eyes for myself :-)
