A NEW BEGINNING

Salam people,

Yes, it has been a looooonnnnnggg long time since I last updated my make up blog. My sincerest apologies as many things happened towards 3rd & 4th quarter of year 2011. In which all of those I've treasured and part of Allah s.w.t gifts to me and my family - ALHAMDULILLAH.

I AM STILL DOING MY MAKE UP - In case this question plays in your mind. Many of the pictures I have NOT updated and some events I did not even snap a photo :P. Insya'allah I will try my best to update this blog ELSE you can also add me in facebook (Nadiya Abdul Hamid).

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011

Salam People,

New Year, another year for ALL of US. A year for us to work harder, achieve better results, improves ourselves, remember the mistakes we had made previous years but try NOT to repeat it again and make it as part of our life journey and experiences. Whatever it is...life goes on and ALHAMDULILLAH we are still given the chance by Allah to breath the air we are currently breathing and be with our loved ones. I'm gratitude...SYUKUR ALHAMDULILLAH with all the blessings he had given to me and my family for the past years and praying that many more years to come with his blessings.

I am taking this opportunity to wish all my family, friends & customers A BLESSED 2011 and may all your goals & dreams be fulfilled along with his blessings. My thank you(s) to all of you for the never ending support given to me. I'll treasure it and with this wonderful support of yours...it makes me paddle my dream slowly but surely to reach my aim in my line of passion-make up it is! I will never stop learning and learning, gain more experiences and expose myself....without ALL of YOU!...YOU...YOU...YES, you who is currently reading this-you guys have help me A LOT & THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH from the bottom of my HEART!

• Mohd Rizwan Khan (My better half)-Tq you very much for your endless support, undying love and always always always be beside me thru hard and good times. • Pn Siti Zainon (My Beloved Mom)-NO one I mean NO one can ever replace you! You have been my backbone, my love of my life, my ONE and only person that knows me...that cared for me when NO one else will...that will always pick me up whenever I fall...a person that knows what's BEST in life and most of ALL...a GREAT GREAT GREAT Grandma for both of kids! Tq so so so MUCH for taking GOOD care of them and nothing in this world could ever replace the sacrifices, the hardwork and love that you have provide to them. • Mimie Hamdan (I still call her Helmi) - The person who I know since my employment years in my previous company and she taught me how to blog...YES...she is my blog sifu and this NMO blog...is preciously done by her...without her gadget freak attitude....I will NOT be having this BLOG. Non existence I guess...hehehe. TQ u so much babe...for the undying support. Oh ya! she bakes delicious cakes too...check out her DELICIOUS CUPPIES blog.
• Aznita Ismail (My 1st make up sifu) - A warm at heart person she is...she gives us the positive aura in making us realize about our passion. Tq u so much Aznita! Check out her bridal business EHA BEAUTY.

I know this entry is full of text and with NO pictures (boring eh?). For me...It is meaningful as this entry is a special dedication to ALL the people that made my journey as a MUA a success ! and insya'allah with all your prayers too...I'm hoping a GOOD start for year 2011 and may ALL our dreams come true with his blessings-AMIN.

How was your weekend? Mine was alright accept that my 4 year old son was down with fever and now mommy is not feeling that good too :P. Thought of taking this opportunity to update my make up blog for a little. (Dad's at work & kids are taking their afternoon nap :-P)

Last saturday I've assisted Helmi Liza www.mimie1678.com in making her reality come true to have an anniversary photoshoot with her beloved hubby. A casual make over to make her day fill with more colours. Photos were professionally taken by Hafiz Hamdan from sukasukaphoto.blogspot.com

Busy Week-Work & Family

Salam People,

Yup it's been a week since my last update-was busy with many agendas, work & family.

As I am writing - my body is still screaming for more rest :P. Just came back from a teambuilding that was held at PD-full of fun, laughter and it's HOT!

I was dehydrated as well, when you are busy with those activities tendency of NOT drinking at least 2 litre of liquid is possible. My lips was cracking but THANK YOU to my lip balm-it helps a alot!

After Party-Bobbi Brown

Yes I'm updating my blog again...hehehehe. As Helmi "kutuk me" , "semalam ada orang update blog"hahahaha. (I've learnt from the best :D)

Anyhow, our troupe headed to Pavillion today at 12 noon sharp and the road is kind to us too-it was a smooth traffic! Reached Pavi at 12:15pm and off we went to Bobbi Brown for the party.

Simone (Retail Manager) was not there yet (btw, she is a friendly lady and pssttt.... she gave away loads of free gifts! Trust me!). I've RSVPed my invitation thru her as our last visit to the shop she has assisted us and loads

of tips given by her too. Lovely lady!

Ok-while waiting for Simone, we were entertained by Shaffira (did I get the spelling right?). Nice & friendly girl. We had our time there! They served finger foods and as usual...we whacked it and Shaffira had to replenish it and after being replenished.....it went empty again...muahahahaha.

All of us were happy with our purchases and below are my purchases :D. Thought of sharing as personally I love their skin care-perhaps you may want to give it a try and bet you will never regret it! :-)

I am waiting patiently to attend this event. Since our last visit to BB counter at Pavillion last 2-3 weeks, I've been waiting eagerly to go again tomorrow. I just love the new hydrating skincare range that Bobbi Brown offers.

It is perfect for my oily combination skin.

I've got a few sample of their hydrating gel cream, face tonic, eye cream. Love ALL of them!

I know it's been ages since my last post! Please accept my sincere apology as I admit that I'm NOT a blog person even though I work in IT line ;-). Repeatedly I've been "bebel" my buddy Helmi..."please update your blog, eventhough you don't have any pictures to upload...provide make up tips and anything about beauty....as people do not know you in person and when you write, people will know you better ;-)". Not her exact words but I do understand where she's coming from. OK, yes I should as I like to read about beauty and like to observe beauty too.

I will ...may I repeat again...I will try to at least share my humble knowledge in the world of beauty to all my dearest friends out there and who ever by any chance reading my blog. Insya'allah.
